Faculty Awards & Funding
UC Irvine Health Affairs funds innovative research projects through a series of multidisciplinary awards supporting basic, translational, clinical and population health projects. Pilot awards focus on improving human health and well-being; and fostering advances in personalized health and patient-specific care through precision health. Additionally, we offer a strategic funding mechanism to provide critical, timely support for urgent research and development across all units within Health Affairs.
Falling Leaves Foundation Medical Innovation Building
The Falling Leaves Foundation Medical Innovation Building, an interdisciplinary hub spanning 215,000 square feet in the UC Irvine Health Sciences District, will unite clinicians and scientists to advance transformative “bench to bedside” research. Along with state-of-the-art laboratories and equipment, the building will host 12 high-impact research programs, emphasizing collaborative efforts to educate tomorrow’s leaders and revolutionize biomedical research and patient care.
