March Update on the Falling Leaves Foundation Medical Innovation Building Construction

The Falling Leaves Foundation Medical Innovation Building continues to make impressive strides towards completion. Interior work has progressed significantly, with drywall installation now finished through Level 6. Laboratory outfitting is advancing steadily, with fume hoods and laboratory furniture installation progressing through Levels 4, 5 and 6. This process is being closely coordinated with vinyl flooring installation to ensure efficient and high-quality results. All three stairways (1, 2 and 3) are now fully complete, with plastering and railing painting finished. Site concrete work and planter walls have been completed, and the project has moved into the landscaping phase with plant material currently being installed. Civil concrete work and asphalt paving are underway, with the remainder of the parking lot and fire lane paving scheduled for completion this month. A notable development is the completion of stairs and ramp switchbacks between Gross Hall and the Falling Leaves Foundation Medical Innovation Building. Railings for these areas are currently being installed, enhancing accessibility and safety. The project has entered a new phase with the commencement of the HVAC system start-up; this critical step will ensure a comfortable and controlled environment for future occupants and sensitive laboratory equipment.
