Who We Are
UC Irvine Health Affairs is a $4.5 billion enterprise encompassing the Susan & Henry Samueli College campaign of Health Sciences (COHS) and UCI Health, the clinical arm of UC Irvine. With a focus on interprofessional education and collaborative practice, the COHS houses schools of medicine, nursing, pharmacy and public health, as well as the Susan Samueli Integrative Health Institute and leading research centers.
One Health is our unique and nationally recognized interdisciplinary alliance, bringing together experts in medicine, nursing, pharmaceutical sciences, public health and integrative health. This distinctive model empowers Health Affairs to unite over 15,000 faculty and staff across health disciplines, pioneering breakthrough discoveries that cure diseases, advance patient care and support lifelong wellness. Our seamless, integrated approach amplifies UC Irvine’s world-class expertise for the ultimate benefit of the community we serve.

UCI Health supports patients across every stage of life. We have grown into a regional health system with over 1,300 beds, solidifying our capacity to meet the diverse healthcare needs of Southern California.
